The feeding material particle size
The material among the feeding material whose size less than the mesh aperture size should pass the screen mesh, in fact, it is impossible that all the undersize material pass through the aperture, only the material whose size is much less than aperture size could pass through the hole easily, the material near material aperture size is very hardly to pass the screen mesh aperture with low probability, this size material called “particle hard for screening ” , if the content of the “particle hardly for screening” is more, the screening efficiency is lower.

The moisture if the feeding material
When the moisture of feeding material is low, the material surface only have the adsorbed water or dependence water, it affect the screening efficiency slightly, when the moisture up to 5%-8%, the wedge water will appear, the wedge water will increase the cohesion among the particle material or between the particle and screen mesh wire, this situation will make the particle together and block the mesh aperture, then affect the screening efficiency.
When the moisture up to 10%-14%, will there are interspace water between the particle material, the cohesion will decrease, the screening efficiency will be higher again.
